Maria Sharapova about Mildronate

A week ago, Maria Sharapova posted a video on Instagram about mildronate . It stands on a tennis court, black leggings, red top. In her hands she holds a soccer ball. She smiles, looking to the camera and says: "But no slow-mo!" From off a voice is heard: "Just do it!" Then she holds the ball with thighs and feet in the air. 14 touches it creates until they no longer come to pass. A user writes: "The FC Barcelona gets!"

However, the appropriate punishment for their offense is the quintessence of a 33-page verdict a stunned leaves whose reading. The pamphlet allowed inside insights into the life of a sports heroine who have nothing more to do with the smoothly polished Instagram reality. Anyone who thinks that it is enough simply to drive only a lot of sports, to eat healthy, to maintain a balanced lifestyle and repeatedly insert hard workouts to make it to the top in his sport, having his eyes open in the verdict. Up to 30 drugs (!!) Sharapova took a partially parallel. These were NOT to doping substances. No, they were allowed preparations - at least until Meldonium was banned. Sharapovas career was bedded on pills.

It began in 2005, a year after she won a 17-year-old at Wimbledon. Sharapova was weakened by several influenza infections and sought the Russian physicians Anatoly Skalny on which a drug cocktail from a total of 18 agents touched her - including Meldonium. The ITF Tribunal has in its judgment, states that Skalny then no disease in Sharapova diagnosed, which would have made the capture of Meldonium required. Skalny wrote Sharapova then great detail on when and how they would have the drug "Mildronate" whose main ingredient is Meldonium take.

By 2010, more and more resources were added, at the end there were actually 30 2013 Sharapova separated from Skalny and also reduced their medication use. There were three eventually left: next "Mildronate" nor "Magnerot" (magnesium tablets) and "riboxin" (muscle relaxants). They took this step without medical advice, which the ITF Tribunal commented, had "Ms. Sharapova is no evidence of a therapeutic benefit of Mildronate. They did not know the drugs and had never read the manufacturer's package insert. "
